I see pictures of trash, and animals eating in piles of trash.
You actually have to have a minimum standard of living to have trash lying around that no one is fighting over. India seems to have exceeded that threshold. When I was in Vietnam, almost 30 years ago, they didn’t. The whole place was decaying, but there wasn’t much trash. Plastic bottles were much in demand. Cambodia was worse. But not much trash.
Ugh! Rotting corpses & feces in the river where people bathe.
How can India peoduce so many brilliant scientists & mathematicians, yet remain oblivious to the need for indoor plumbing & modern cremation methods?
