A new case of coronavirus in Santa Clara County, the county’s third documented case, is now the second instance in the U.S. of community transmission of the virus.
The Santa Clara County Public Health Department was scheduled to give details of the latest coronavirus patient at a 4 p.m. news conference.
The county health department said this latest coronavirus case – a 65-year-old woman with chronic health conditions – has no known connection to travel in countries most affected by the virus or close contact with a known infected individual.
The development indicates the virus spreading among two separate populations within Northern California. In a prepared statement, county health officials declared that “now is the time to prepare for the possibility of widespread community transmission.”

The good news is that the virus taking out old weak folks like me will help the budget numbers for Soc Sec and Medicare.
The bad news is that the federal govt will undoubtedly find a way to p*ss that money away somewhere.
I think we’ll also find it will deal with the “homeless” problem quite effectively.

Don’t know about santa clara county, but all homeless on the west coast is sure to be a breeding ground.

Before the homeless go down they will spread it around and affect others with them. Then the sick homeless will clog up up the ERs and affect people there.
I sometimes wonder how far the Dems would go. Would they allow it to spread in a homeless population? Would they actually salt a carrier to spread the virus as long as it would hurt Trump and the US?

You can say that again. An “acquaintance” of mine texted me the night of Trump’s speech and saying
