You’ll be just fine. You can use all four if you wish for faster drip. We have the Big Berkey, hold about 1.75 gallons at a time. Just pay attention on how to prime and test filters first time around. Everything will be fine. You will love it. We use ours on the road during our fair season...
Yep, that’s a good way to freeze them.
I needed the extra space, so I froze by ½ doz and Doz.
Then, for baking, I know how many to measure out, once thawed. The rest/leftover, of the thawed bag, we’ll eat.
I’ve got several freezers pretty much packed, so, now I’m pressure canning meats.
We tried ours on our creek water... we first strained through a T-shirt, then boiled, then ran through then Berkey. It worked great!

We won’t need it, hopefully, as we are on a water well.
I purchased it YEARS ago, during 0s reign, and we used it for about six months. Our well water tests out very good, thankfully.
BUT...you never know, so it’s just a good thing to have...in case we ever have to use other sources of water.

Typical Symptoms
COVID-19 typically causes flu-like symptoms including a fever and cough.
In some patients - particularly the elderly and others with other chronic health conditions - these symptoms can develop into pneumonia, with chest tightness, chest pain, and shortness of breath.
It seems to start with a fever, followed by a dry cough.
After a week, it can lead to shortness of breath, with about 20% of patients requiring hospital treatment.
Notably, the COVID-19 infection rarely seems to cause a runny nose, sneezing, or sore throat (these symptoms have been observed in only about 5% of patients). Sore throat, sneezing, and stuffy nose are most often signs of a cold.

I read somewhere with dirty water like creek water, filtering it first through a t shirt or other filter to get out the larger debris will extend the life of the Berkey filters. Good to know as they are not cheap!
