All countries KNOW that this will overwhelm their health care systems. 20% of those who get it require hospitalization. There are 924,107 hospital beds in the usa (https://www.aha.org/statistics/fast-facts-us-hospitals). A typical flu bug infects 60 million in the usa. If THIS infects only half this amount that would mean that 6 million people would need to be at a hospital. That's not counting EVERY other problem that people go to hospitals for.
That's why China is building emergency hospitals at such a clip. It's why EVERYONE is trying to stop it. Countries will go broke on health care.

Hospitals? Or internment facilities to hold them until ovens are available? More like military prisons from what I’ve seen them build.
