Hospitals? Or internment facilities to hold them until ovens are available? More like military prisons from what I’ve seen them build.

Correct. They were prefab prisons meant to hold their muzzies. Hence the bars on the windows.
Their healthcare system was overwhelmed. I think they probably warehouse them and basically waited to see if they lived and died so that they could use the hospitals for other patients....just an opinion.
