Speaking of which, how long do you need to soak dried beans in order to eat them? I’ve been buying canned beans of various flavors and varieties (baked beans, chili beans, etc.), but it can get expensive.

There’ll be instructions on the dried beans.

I have local-grown beans and I just throw them in the crockpot with meat overnight. So good!

Soak Overnight, or bring to a boil and soak several hours, then cook several hours. I think cooking them in an Instant Pot or Pressure Cooker is about 25-30 minutes.

If keeping dried beans for an extended period, I think having a blacklight to check for aspergillus would be a good idea.

Ever think about flipping the bag o beans over to see if there’s directions on the back like most things have?
