GMTA. That’s exactly what I just posted.

Whether they can afford it or not there are too many who eat out every day. It’s ridiculous. Posted in my rely about two chickens that a 50 year old woman and a young newlywed couple all crying because they were clueless how to cook.

For their daily morning $10 trip to Starbucks for one cup of coffee and one fiber muffin, they could feed themselves for several days if they just would. Tonight’s home cooked dinner was $1.08 (max) per serving - beef and cheese chili relleno topped with salsa and a side of mixed dried black beans and small red beans from the garden. That’s nine meals for one trip to Starbucks even with store bought dried beans. Granted no salad but right now I’m avoiding any fresh produce that can’t be washed well, peeled and cooked. Tonight’s fresh pepper was washed, roasted and fried (yes, should have baked dinner instead of frying).

Saw a video of a young American guy in China going on a grocery shopping trip. Clueless in his clothing. Clueless in bringing into his apartment the suitcase he packed the food in after rolling it all over the streets. Clueless on what to buy. He purchased junk food like corn flakes, soda and what looked to be cookies.

Yes, those misled clueless people will be a burden on others.

Nope. They don’t have guns either.

This could be one of the biggest examples of Darwinism we will ever see in our lives. I can only hope they get sick and thin...and not die.

“Yes, those misled clueless people will be a burden on others.”

We don’t eat rice, due to it being carbs, but if push comes to shove, then we eat it. I bought about 200 lbs. of rice, figuring that’s good for 160 man-days, or 80 days for the two of us, if need be (and that be eating nothing but rice). But we do have much more, including a boatload of meat.

Anyway, the total cost of that rice was about $120...roughly what we’d save by not going out to eat a couple of times - something we’re already (not) doing, so as to minimize my wife’s potential exposure (weak immune system). So, if we never use the rice...big deal. We’ll donate it to our church or give it to a restaurant.

It’s incredible that people refuse to even take a step as simple as the above regarding rice...when it costs next to nothing.

In my case I purchased Fruit Loops rather than Corn Flakes. *Also have about 100 #10 cans professionally packed: miscellaneous dried products.

Speaking of which, how long do you need to soak dried beans in order to eat them? I’ve been buying canned beans of various flavors and varieties (baked beans, chili beans, etc.), but it can get expensive.
