Bernie Sanders could easily cause Trump to win in a landslide, mainly because he is too far left.

One thing to get turnout of true believers at a Sanders rally, it’s another thing to get voters to turn out and vote for Sanders. I don’t remember any stats on dem voter turnout at the recent dem primaries. If primary turnout has been high, say equal to or greater than dem turnout in the 2016 primaries, then its time to worry. If not it’s a Trump landslide and good pickups down ballots.

“I don’t see where Sanders is getting 11-15k in any rally. Maybe he did in Richmond, maybe not.”

Wasn’t a free rock concert the real draw?

He's promised to forgive their student loans. Believe me, they'll drag themselves off the couch to go vote for THAT.

You’re right. I missed that. Maybe he had other rallies with 5 digit attendance, but I’m not seeing it.

The thing is, no matter where Trump goes, he will attract 10k or more if you count the people outside because the seats were already full. So Bernie got 17k in the liberal state of Washington. Has he done that anywhere else? Has he done it in a non-liberal state?

Well, that’s two I missed. But, still, he’s getting those crowds in very liberal states.

Millennials should have to pool together and redistribute their mileage and hotel points for starters.

I’m becoming convinced it won’t be Bernie but Mike. Because, “unlimited money” - in a “Quantity has a quality all its own” sense.

The issue will then be whether unlimited money can buy the general election. Considering that the MSM routinely provides essentially the same thing, propaganda-wise, in every election - and yet the Republicans manage to win half the time.

I've heard a lot about buying an election. IF the two candidates are roughly equal in likeability and popularity and public awareness, I think that money can be the deciding factor.

But likeability counts A LOT. More than policy. People LIKED Reagan. He got two landslides. People didn't like Hilary. She lost badly, except for the illegal and dead vote.

People KNEW Reagan. He was the emcee on Death Valley for years, then he was the governor of California, not counting his movies. People KNEW Trump. He was a TV star after he was a billionaire.

I don't think any of the Democrats are likable. Money can't only get you so many votes in certain demographics (the dead).

I'll be surprised if Trump gets less than 340 EVs.
