According to the article, Kim Jung Un is still a brutal dictator who has dealt with the threat of covid-19 by executing at least one patient. Punishment for leaving quarantine.
Speculation. Execution for covid-19 was cover for execution for something else. But who knows?
If the execution was of someone that had visited China, it would have to have been someone from the elite. If it was a set-up, perhaps it was tying off a loose end. Kim’s keeping the elite in line is also a valuable goal.
