How are you going to accuse Trump of being a “Russian agent” for 3 years & then nominate a communist like Bernie Sanders for president?
Your logic is astounding.
I believe their thinking is that Russia used to be explicitly communist and was super cool. Bernie is cool like that.
But Russia under Putin is less communist. It actually has a Christian revival. So now it is uncool. It’s the sort of country with which President Trump could actually have a productive relationship. Democrats don’t like that.
