I doubt it’s the elite in China who are dying. It’s mostly the aged, rural people. China has huge numbers because they have a huge population.

I’ve read stuff that indicates it’s the elites that are getting the hospital beds and the regular folk get a drip (if they are lucky) and are simply sent home to die.
I don’t doubt that for a minute.
But it’s not just the aged. Cytokine storm is a thing with this virus. And that’s the young and healthy.
If anything comes out of this I hope it makes the rest of the world realize that using a commie/fascist dictatorship as a single point of failure of your economy is a bad idea. Using said same country to manufacture all your medicines and components needed for your military and telecom infrastructure is even crazier.
I’d hope they’d all go bankrupt. But that would crash the economy and hurt a lot of innocent people.
So I’ll just hope their titties fall off.
