A new book by Greta Thunbergs mother reveals the reality of family life during her daughters transformation from bullied teenager to climate icon
One evening in the autumn of 2014, Svante and I sat slumped on our bathroom floor in Stockholm. It was late, the children were asleep. Everything was starting to fall apart around us. Greta was 11, had just started fifth grade, and was not doing well. She cried at night when she should be sleeping. She cried on her way to school. She cried in her classes and during her breaks, and the teachers called home almost every day. Svante had to run off and bring her home to Moses, our golden retriever. She sat with him for hours, petting him and stroking his fur. She was slowly disappearing into some kind of darkness and little by little, bit by bit, she seemed to stop functioning. She stopped playing the piano. She stopped laughing. She stopped talking. And she stopped eating.

I do a fair amount of work with autism spectrum/Asperger’s Syndrome. These minds are very unique in the way their thalamus in the brain sorts and prioritizes input.
In Scott Peck’s book “People of the Lie;The Psychllogy of Evil”, he has an entire chapter on people with autism are emotionally cold and have the potential of being the worst narcissists.
Keep in mind that both parents are mediocre actors.
I have observed what I call “imposed autism” in children where the mother was pure evil, suppressing the child’s emotional expression.
Makes me sick to see it happen.
How normal is it for a 16 year old girl, from Scandinavia, who is so dangerously mentally troubled, to be driving a Tesla all over North America (a foreign Continent), presumably by herself?
Yah, Arnold arranged for the Tesla, but something REALLY doesn’t add up!
Perhaps a move would have been simpler.
Heard it on Bill Whittle.com.... a spot on nickname for her
Scoldylocks!
PS Her parents should be charged with child abuse.
They are proud of their mentally ill daughter they proped up and took advantage of
so she’s mentally ill. I’m not surprised.
I have a tire pile I can light if that would help. These people have committed child abuse.
Thanks for the visual.
Apparently grew out of that phase.
More's the pity.
It was said that House had Aspergers. He was fixated on solving diagnostic puzzles - humans were most often of secondary concern.
child abuse
They are whacked aren’t they?
These people think they are doing their child a favor. They are doing some damage. Why can’t kids be kids...?
TV, books and movies tend to slap a coat of varnish on reality.
The kid has problems, all right. Dozens of serious problems. The very least among them is CO2 emissions. She deserves our pity, not our admiration.
So we are supposed to heed the words of this crazed eco-twerp? Sorry about her psychological problems, but this is no justification for her to inflict herself on the rest of the world.
I used to be an EMS worker. I’ve seen it in living Technicolor more times than I care to remember.
For me, it was always the smell. I never got past the nausea.
These parents are guilty of Child Abuse, as far as I’m concerned....
