Bay Area residents — despite being swept up in an unprecedented economic boom — are growing ever unhappier with the place they call home.
Nearly 3 in 4 residents think the quality of life in the Bay Area has gotten worse in the last five years, according to a new poll of registered voters conducted for this news organization and the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. That marks an astonishing 10-point jump in dissatisfaction from last year.

Our side just needs to admit that in this war of ideology,we have no ground in the cities,universities and good portion of local and federal government. I am horrified of a 2024 post Trump era. The GOP is simply going to say,”It’s their turn”. There is nobody substantial that I am aware of that will continue MAGA just as there was nobody to continue Reagan’s eloquent vision of America as a shining city on a hill. The scum left mocks both and the fake Republicans dismiss it. If we lose 2020,we lose America sooner, plain and simple.

My breaking point came in 1988 - I literally felt as if the tax walls were closing in on me. Bailed that same year and never looked back.
