On a per-capita basis, the connection between China and Canada is stronger than that of the U.S.—big enough china towns in the most major cities, and Ottawa has one too, not that far from where I’ll be Tuesday, and maybe a 15 minute walk from Parliament. Word on the street has a way of carrying weight.
