This thread (and others) has great info. It also has complete speculation and drivel like 10% (not referring to 1919 but coronavirus). It's no different from any thread here except there's a justified skepticism with Chinese numbers.

Even at 2% mortality the virus is very serious. The rate in Italy is 1% but it's still very early in that outbreak.
