Heck, I just got the normal flu and it’s freaky these days....
I can relate. I’m 42 and in good health, however the flu knocked me on my a$$ a couple of years ago and I have a newfound respect for it. My lungs were inflamed for nine months after I was “well”. Any little cold, allergy, or whatnot led to weeklong coughing spasms so intense I would vomit. A lot of people look at illnesses like the flu as if you either die or are just fine, when there is another scenario where your organs are damaged for months or years afterwards.
Was exposed to hundreds of asians recently. Even shook a few hands. Got sneezed on and coughed on at Truck stops. Been fighting probably 4 to 5 flus off since that trip. No flu got a hold. And just when in the clear, word out of China is 24 day incubation. Some of us will always be in quarantine. Sucks
