Amy destroyed herself by showing she couldn’t even handle the silly teasing of a meaningless Midwest mayor. She blew her top again and again. How on Earth would she behave in an actual domestic or foreign crisis?
[For the ladies protection???]
“With her hoarse voice and scolding manner, she was every mean old lady that children learn to fear.”
And men avoid at all costs.
Who wants their scolding ex wife to be POTUS? Perhaps their Mother In Law?
Raise your hands!
Warren reminds me of the vile foul breathed teacher we had in grammar school who everyone hated (not feared) and who mysteriously often wound up with thumbtacks on her chair,
For those of you who remember the show "Bewitched", Elizabeth Warren is the Gladys Kravitz of the Democrat Party.
I remember. She was the nosy annoying neighbor that they drove crazy.
You are kidding about Kerry right? ;-D
I admit I was a little afraid of Bloomberg’s money. I’m a lot less worried about him and Amy at this point. They should have nominated Yang and free money.
Seems very likely Bernie has a plurality if not a majority. Meaning either it’s him or they “steal” it from him on the 2nd ballot, either outcome is good for us.
If they try to nominate some candidate (M. Obama? least divisive choice?) that didn’t run in the primaries it will be Armageddon.
Harry Reid says brokered conventions always choose good nominees for them in the past. Not true, Davis in 1924 was a terrible nominee. He was the last conservative democrat nominated, which fractured the party causing them to lose votes to LaFollette. Davis got an even smaller share of the vote than Douglas in 1860.
LOL
The essay is not very good.
Klobuchar (who hasn’t caught on in polling despite her impressive debate and third-place finish in NH) had a weak debate, and Bloomberg got shivved by everyone on the podium (what was the name of the Vegas hotel where the debate was held, “The Orient Express”? : ), so last night helped quite a bit to assuage my greatest fear: a Klobuchar-Bloomberg ticket. Klobuchar is the most “normal” of the Democrats, perhaps would do well in the Midwest, maybe win back some blue-collar whites and keep the suburbanites that voted for Hillary (and get even more suburban women), which would make it much tougher for Trump to win reelection. While she wouldn’t do much to gin up black turnout (the third leg of the Democrats’ stool when running against Trump, with bringing back blue-collar whites and ieeping moderate suburbanites being the ither two), she’d be better off picking Bloomberg than a black Democrat (who would she pick, anyhow, Harold Ford, Jr.? Cory Booke? Sanford Bishop?) because Bloomberg would be able to spend unlimited money on the ticket because he’d be a candidate. Klobuchar with Bloomberg money would be a scary proposition for us, and that’s what we’d be facing if we ran against a Klobuchar-Bloomberg ticket.
The Dems are clueless this year & don’t know what they’re doing.
Kerry is in SC campaigning for Joe.
Michelle hates campaigning.
DEMS really tried to stop Carter in 76.
Daley endorsed him in june. That ended it.
They have an unsolvable crisis this year.
Bloomberg playing very dirty with a doctored video

LOL

Not dirty.
Legit.
& Creative.
A lot of democrats seem to think Bloomberg has some noble (to them) vision of helping the party and doesn’t even really want to be the nominee.
That’s obviously false, he clearly wants to be President very badly.
I’m not sure he’d want to be VP, especially to a woman. ;)
And as much sense as it might make to offer it to him (he wouldn’t be the first selected solely because he had big bucks, Henry Davis 1904!) I have trouble seeing that, until you mentioned it I hadn’t even considered it. It would really piss of the left wing of the party. Worth mentioning that Hillary outspent Trump by a lot and it didn’t work.
I’ve seen lots of rat comment posters on “Political Wire” wish he would put all his money behind one of the other candidates though. He could if he wished just do unlimited “third-party” funding attacking Trump, couldn’t he? I don’t know if he will be willing to keep wasting his money if he fails at buying the nomination, especially if Sanders gets it.
As for “Black VP choices”, I do think Klob would seek one, I can easily see Booker fit that bill or even Patrick.
What’s really interesting is who would Bernie pick? He floated Warren (and Treasury Sec at the same time? is that legal?) but he could really use someone younger. Julian Castro? But his name is Castro!!!
Many voters may be dumb enough to not realize it’s doctored. Like if we tell the ghetto not to forget to vote on Wednesday!
LOL
And honestly I don’t think anyone on the rat side gives a damn if he started a business or not.
