if you live in a city with a lot of chinese you need to at least have some liposomal C
They give IV’s of Vitamin C to try to combat Sepsis that can come with flu/pneumonia as a new way to treat. Way back when our family dealt with this issue they didn’t know to do that.
Maverick doctors have been doing IV vitamin c for a long time. 150,000 to 200,000 mgs and up is quite common. From what I have seen, Liposomal is pretty much a waste of money if the goal is to get extremely high vit c levels in the blood. It does help maintain vit c at a higher level for a longer period of time compared to sodium ascorbate (sb) though, but that can be overcome with more frequent use of sb. I thought I was going to be a fan of liposomal until I looked into it further. Expensive stuff besides.
Another thing that I found interesting about vit c is that most animals can manufacture their own, and of course, humans can not. They identified the gene responsible for making vit c in both animals and humans, but for some reason, ours gene has been “switched off”.
