Your daughter is, unfortunately incorrect. The virus lives just fine in the heat. And I doubt there are an abundance of ICU beds in Africa. And finally, the only reason Ebola hasn’t broken out is because Africans are not globetrotters...and Ebola kills so fast it cannot get out of its own way.

Their genetic pool adapted. For example , it is thought sickle cell anemia and thalessemia evolved to combat malaria.

This is why sickle cell carriers are seen with more frequency in some races.

My family is from Wales, Ireland, England but yep..I got stuck with some genetic mess from way back when and ended up with thalessemia.
