Bill Gates has warned that coronavirus in Africa could overwhelm health services and trigger a pandemic which could cause 10 million deaths.
The Microsoft founder and global health pioneer was speaking at the AAAS meeting in Seattle just hours before the first case was confirmed in Cairo, Egypt.
There are now fears that the disease could spread to sub-Saharan Africa where it could spark an uncontrollable outbreak, with health services unable to monitor or control the virus.
Mr Gates said: I wanted to talk about a special topic, which is this recent coronavirus epidemic.
This is a huge challenge, weve always known the potential for an naturally caused, or intentionally caused, pandemic is one if the few things that could disrupt health systems and economies and cause more than 10 million excess deaths....

EXCELLENT point.
“Quick we need to spend billions in Africa...again”
Here it comes...the big lie again
“The foolsxactually think they would personally survive committing such a crime”.
That’s how arrogant they are and they are in for a rude awakening.
Very evil such as Hillary Clinton must think they’re never going to die and answer for what they’ve done. She has sold her soul to the devil and again, she’s in for a rude awakening.
Welcome home, brother.
They could engineer a virus/es capable of doing that and nobody would be none the wiser, like now for example.
Covid 2019/ Coronavirus Wuhan is doing fine in Singapore
Finally, a virus that concerns Bill.
I believe you are correct sir. Arent these the same slime bags, who want to reduce the worlds population to 500 million people? To them, 10 million deaths, is a good start, but is only a small portion of the number of dead they REALLY want to see. Can anyone understand the logistics of trying to kill off 6 billion people?
Wu-Han Clan, brilliant.
Wish i’d thought of that.
Only if the virus kills the corrupt leaders in those countries. Almost all of the famine and poor living in Africa isn’t a resource problem - it is lousy leaders, and war.
However - it is getting better in Africa due to better governing overall. Slowly.
My personal belief is there is a deliberate attempt to stir up hysteria in the hopes it will adversly effect the economy. It is all the Liberals have left and they have nothing to lose.
I always thought the crash of 2008 was somehow triggered by liberal banking people to get obama elected.
The recession actually beganin Dec. of 2007 and the consensus is the cause was sub prime mortgage lending and the lack of supervision in this area.
But it was all sort of a house of cards. What/who pulled that first card to make it tumble?
There was a good comedy bit about it by two British(?) comedians. Although I think it accurately described the situation.
Talked about how you get black people to buy homes even though they have no credit history. Then you bundle all of those “dodgy debts” into some fund with a good name like “Enhanced Platinum Capital Growth Fund.”
“Oh yes - is that a good fund?”
“No. But the NAME is good! And people love to invest in funds with good names!”

Bird and Fortune
It really is more a critique of the investment culture than a comedy.
I guess Lil’ Billy is buying that 645 million dollar Yacht to park in the middle of the Pacific and wait this virus out. Yep 645 million. Nice to see the money hasn’t gone to his head. Meet the new Soros, same as the old Soros.
I have no answer to your question.
We could also as the same questions about the crash in 1929.
Hey Bill. Common core math? Stay in your lane.
I dont doubt that hes right.
He claims to be worried about our survival and then says hed come back as a killer virus?!?!?!
WTH passes for logic in liberal minds?
