I defended keeping the people on the Cruise Ship, but I honestly
thought the experts would make wise decisions and prevent what has
taken place.
What a screw-up.
I would think any place with a ventilation system between rooms would be a bad idea.
I mean, the real thing to do, party like its 1399, tow it out beyond 200 miles and sink it.
Failing that, there was no right solution, all the choices had possibly bad outcomes and there was no right basis to choose.
If you are stuck on a cruise ship with sick people, it seems logical that cross-infections will be high. Cruise ships have thousands of people packed in close quarters. Besides common ventilation systems, everyone (including staff) touches the same dining tables, chairs, doorknobs, buffet carts, slot machines, etc. etc.
“I honestly thought the experts would make wise decisions”
I guess I am too cynical.
All depends on how their ventilation system was designed. Looks central based due to logistics. And on how clean their food preparers were. Something there failed horribly.
