Despite her massive national media presence, it appears U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., isn’t taking reelection for granted.
At a Saturday kickoff event in her bid for a second term, the far-left freshman congresswoman told supporters she wanted to see voter turnout in New York’s 14th Congressional District increase by “four times” over her previous run in 2018.
No fewer than 12 Democrats have filed in the district to run against Ocasio-Cortez in the primary election on June 23, according to radio station WINS of New York City. In addition, at least three Republicans will vie for a chance to ultimately win the seat.
“Last election cycle, in the primary as we know, the turnout was quite low,” she told a small crowd in Corona, Queens. “This year, we want to multiply turnout by four times. That’s our goal. We want to secure 60,000 votes in the primary election. We need to start creating a turnout machine right now.”

IMHO, any media presence she has is negative.
Four times? Is that voters or 4x votes? Is it a subliminal message to her followers? I think politics would be dull without her. she provides daily comedy.
Sounds great but those who run for Congress are doing it for themselves- even if they say otherwise!
Like I said, there are 11 straw candidates. Michele Caruso Cabrera is the rival, the other 11 are there to dilute the anti-AOC votes. They probably have one or two with Irish names, one or two Greek names, and a few Afro-Americans.
so the 11 will spilt the vote and AOC will win in a cake walk...

How about a “time BACK” machine, where she would still be tending bar and our COUNTRY would still be unaffected by her idiocy
I don’t believe for a second that this moron was a bartender. If she was, it was the kind of place that served beer 99% of the time and a rum and coke is being sophisticated. I’d bet anybody 20 bucks right now that she couldn’t mix a Tom Collins. You know her publicist was going over her resume and saying, “Cocktail waitress, that doesn’t sell. We’ll just change that to bartender, it has a nice blue-collar ring to it.” She doesn’t know what a garbage disposal is, I wouldn’t trust her to mix me a drink. She probably thinks the Drano under the sink is magic flavor powder.
I’m not real impressed that Amazon ever considered New York. Forget ideologies and all that, it’s just a poor business decision.
She’s the Paris Hilton of Congress, she wears her stupidity as a badge of honor.
