Put me in. I was impressed the way the game moved along with minimum zebra and ad interference. Lack of preparation and practice will improve as the season progresses.

Yes this is real football. Very good. I think this as blue collar football.

Any rules different compared to the NFL? Yes, they want kickoffs to be exciting again so rules for that are different. In addition there will be no PATs, instead they will attempt to convert from scrimmage, from the 2 yard line for one point, from the 5 yard line for two points, or from the 10 yard line for three points. Turnovers on conversion attempts can be returned for the same number of points. Double forward passes are allowed (if both are behind the line of scrimmage). Overtime will be a 2-point conversion shootout. The play clock will be 25 seconds.

I like how you can hear the plays called in from the coach to the QB. So you hear all the radio transmissions. I like how the camera is in the huddle. And interviews sleuth players after a score. The 3 point extra point system is cool also. And the pace of the game is fast.

I watched the first week game between LA and Houston and it was pretty good. As expected it was presented a little flat, but that will improve. I really liked the extra point options after a touchdown.

seems to be zero BS “celebrations” after touchdowns. none. nada. zip. not even a hint or a whiff of celebration. thank goodness!

it’s genuine NFL football, but with a few simple rule changes that make the game MUCH less boring, safer, and easier to ref ... in fact, i’d LOVE to see every XFL rule change adopted by the NFL ...
