Thanks for posting this!
It was disgusting to post and hope it wasnt offensive. I had never heard of the dangerous potentially fatal CDiff, until I was diagnosed. Forty percent of all cases become resistant and can kill. I learned and read all i could while I recuperated. CDiff can remain on surfaces for weeks. Yes, I am a little OCD with public bathrooms. I carry a small bottle of bleach which is the only thing that kills this bug. A few more tips:
Try to never use a public restroom (I have less than a dozen times in 6 years)
As I said, if there is a foul odor, try not to breath, do not touch anything and leave immediately.
Never use the first ten tissues off the roll. Or carry a small tissue supply with you. (Lol)
Do not take an antibiotic unless absolutely necessary.
When you flush, move away as quickly as possible.
Obviously NEVER sit on the toilet seat.
Wash hands in extremely hot water with soap for at least 30 secs. Then never touch the door handle.
Bleach is the only thing that kills CDiff. Hand sanitizers DO NOT.
