The heat is on Jackson now, not Stone. He appears to have been a victim of a railroading, which would necessitate the entire case being thrown out, forget the need for a Trump pardon. Former prosecutor Andrew McCarthy notes that the left’s howlings about Trump’s tweets regarding Stone’s sentencing are a red herring, what’s really a crime is prosecutorial misconduct.

There was this guy, Rich Higgins, who worked for the strategic planning office of the NSC. He was a Michael Flynn hire, so we're already deep into the Phantom Zone from the start. In May, Higgins wrote this memo, and it alarmed, among other people, H.R. McMaster, to the point that he 86'd Higgins and a handful of likeminded fantasts. The title of the memo was POTUS & Political Warfare. Unfortunately for Higgins, not many people were like me and confused it for a new gaming platform. Even more unfortunately for Higgins, Foreign Policy got a copy of the memo, and it is probably the strangest paper produced by the government of the United States
