Its just about perfect as a bioweapon unless you are looking to depopulate a continent. In wars killing the enemy isn’t always optimum, if a casualty weighs down infrastructure by eating a hospital bed and 2 or 3 caregivers for a month that’s far more impact than a dead guy getting chunked in a hole as soon as the smoke clears.
