Battle lines are drawn at the fancy downtown school that Anthony Weiner’s son attends, we’re told, because the school board is considering letting the convicted sex offender back onto its grounds.

Page Six is told that the school has a long-standing policy of only allowing the disgraced pol — who served 16 months in prison for sexting with a 15-year-old — to go as far as its gates.

But freaked-out parents had a representative reach out to tell us that former Rep. Weiner has been lobbying to be allowed onto the school grounds to collect his son, Jordan, 8, and attend events such as parent-teacher conferences.

While it’s commonly believed that sex offenders aren’t allowed on school grounds, New York state regulations make an exception if the offender has a child at the school, under certain circumstances.

I’ve got a friend who was in the fbi for years. He investigated a lot of suicides, since there was always a suspicion of something nefarious. One thing he told me is that where someone kills themself can be a very telling clue. The fact this police officer killed himself at his mother’s home doesn’t suggest foul play, it suggests he and his mother had issues and his killing himself was a statement to her.

my two cents
