I realized in the very early 80s that public education was meant to make kids stupid. I didn’t know about universities as I never went to one. But I did attend public school, and then wanted to home school my kids, and learned a lot about public education that way, and studying about pub. ed. Text books then were bulls*** proganda as well as preventing rational cognitive thought.
Very, very true. Farmers are often brilliant and in greater proportion to their city counterparts.

I was wondering about that; to commit suicide in his mother’s house is meant as a punishment to her. Horrible.
I'll just suggest a HOLE that I've been workin' around for most of the last thirty years.
Metal treatment and distribution warehouses. "Treatment" to include heat treat/induction hardening, surface grinding and (the big bugaboo with EPA) metal finishing.
Over the years, EPA's dictums have made me sometimes feel as though I was trying to design/build a piece of machinery with materials and methods of manufacture from the damn Stone Age.
(Okay, plastics can replace metals....I've done it, too. Sometimes..you..just..gotta..have..some..real..meat.)

The breadth of their knowledge and being in tune with their care of their lands, animals, and plants is very deep and wide.

Farming the land and caring for animals is just the tip of the iceberg. Many farmers drive sophisticated equipment and are self taught builders, electricians, inventers, mechanics, computer wizzes, - you name it, they can do it.

I’m on a list for ladies in agriculture, my only connection being I have horses and keep bees. Some of the questions women ask and receive answers for require so much knowledge, especially in the area of animal husbandry. What mineral is lacking to cause specific conditions; what feed composition can or cannot be used for specific animals - it’s terribly complicated and I gave up my idea of raising sheep after reading what these ladies deal with all the time.
And Bloomburg thinks farming is easy. He is going to gaff his way right out of his DOA campaign.
