His speech was like the Plan 9 of Outer Space of awards speeches. So bad it was funny. And it was hilarious watching the audience cheer at fist and then as he went along the cheers died down.
The winners are a sociopath named Joker and a poor family that murders the father of a rich family.
Family entertainment...
It’s probably the best liked film released last year all over the world. It’s really good.
You do know that Parasite has gotten raves all over the world right? It’s a satire and fantasy - so should not be taken literally.
it highlights the social inequality of life in urban Korea, but I'm old enough to remember when the entire country was a hell hole of poverty after the Korean war, and before then, a poor country under the tyrannical Japanese occupation.
So why not show a film that lauds the hard work of the Korean people to pull themselves out of poverty? No, they have to imitate socialism's meme of “inequality”, where (horrors) poor people actually have to work hard.
but it's not entertaining. It's not funny. And it ends with a murder spree. Fun? Comedy? Nonsense.
n some ways, it seemed to be a plagiarism of the plot of the film “Get Out”.
It’s a black comedy yes. Gallows humor. “Pulp Fiction” is also a comedy. It has nothing in common with “Get Out” that I can think of. It does not demonize the rich - the wealthy couple are decent people who are being taken advantage of by the avaricious, and conniving. They are victims.
Bah. It was World War 1 as a first-person shooter game. Here's the mission, and here are the different levels and adventures. First you have to cross no man's land. Be sure to listen to the directions and turn at the dead horse. Then you have to go through the spooky underground tunnels. Be careful of booby traps! Watch out for the sniper! And so on and so on.
I've wanted a great World War 1 trench warfare movie forever and had high hopes for this, but it was just silly.
