Perhaps..but I don't lay down while sleeping because I have to make sure my head and nose is open to plenty of air. And my spine can't be on a flat surface.

I was surprised when the “experts” told us to put our babies down for their sleeps on their backs. I always put my kids tummy side down as that is what we were told - less chance of choking.

That’s what I think. Some “experts” say put a baby on its back, others say stomach, and they all change their minds. So starting with my first, I propped them on their side, I figured least likely to choke.
