I'm still at son's. VA is going to make some modifications to my house. A rail up the stairs and a walk in shower with bars. I would probably be fine without for now, but occupational therapist said I should strike while iron is hot, so to speak, and use this setback to get the modifications. In 10 years I'll be glad I did.
I'm completely off of oxygen and pretty close to pre-embolism health. I do plan to move home when house is ready.
Mom's dementia is progressing, but slowly. She's very content and happy where she is. It's a really nice (and expensive) place. Well managed. They love her. She gives free hugs to everyone! Here's my pretty mama in the dining room of her place last week.

Thanks for sharing Wes. I have to comment because I'm a woman...I Love the color of jacket she has on. Its really brings out her beautiful hair and skin coloring.
I too am many big bathroom changes. A walk-in shower is a must. No more stepping up in a tub. The doors I've picked out have very sturdy inside handles on them for me to hold while taking a shower if needed.
