I didn’t read what they actually voted on, but I heard that it still recognized that the President has the right and duty to act in emergency or time sensitive cases.
Sounds like some people in Congress just want to feel important.

Local 226 had signaled this week that it would not support Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), describing his policy of “Medicare for All” as a threat to the health insurance plans that workers have won through collective bargaining.
The union’s announcement Thursday was eagerly anticipated: whichever candidate it chose could enjoy a boost at the polls. And with Sanders out of the picture, the other frontrunners could have benefited from a unique opportunity to challenge him.
... I thought Biden was counting on the union vote.

Matt Whitaker just explained what happened with the Roger Stone sentence recommendation.
Leftist US attorneys tried to set up Barr.
The editing is crap.p>
Barr told them to NOT recommend the maximum sentence, and they said they wouldn't.
Then they recommended the maximum sentence, and Barr heard about it through the media.
They all resigned "in protest" of Barr announcing that the sentence was not what he wanted.
So the GOAL was to smear Barr by making it appear that when these salt-of-the-earth US Attorneys did their jobs, the corrupt Barr stepped in and ordered the sentence reduced because Roger Stone is connected to Trump.
What follows is my own deduction.
immediately figured out what was going on and became Crazy Donald on Twitter. He did this for several reasons.
One, he completely changed the story. If Trump had NOT tweeted, Barr would've been put in a very tough spot.
By becoming Crazy Donald, Trump shifted the focus to himself again, and Barr got to say, "I really don't appreciate him butting in."
If Trump HADN'T butted in, the plot to smear Barr would've been more successful.
Trump muddied the waters and gave Barr a chance to both address the issue at hand AND tell Trump that he wants him to stop tweeting.
Think of what total scumbags Holder and Lynch hired. These are lawless psychos, just like Obama.Once again Trump showed that he can out-think anybody.
He changed the argument from Barr being corrupt to the president having the same First Amendment rights as the rest of us.
And the Democrats are left babbling nonsensically into thin air.
It took just one tweet.
It never occurred to me that FOUR federal prosecutors would do something like this, but now I know that they do.
Just so everyone in federal law-enforcement knows:
If you're a Democrat, I will never cooperate with you for any reason.
You've lost my support forever.
I would also add that Trump is VERY keen on revenge.
He serves it ice cold.
The Great Reckoning is coming. We don't know when, but it's coming.
Count on it.

I'm with you. I didn't as well. It was fishy to me...but Carlos really makes a lot of sense. These Dims really think they are above the Executive Branch of our government. No matter what.... these Dims will not give fair justice to a Republican.

It’s fascinating to watch Barr let the wrongdoers put themselves in a corner.
On 3/31 House Dems bring him in for question and lecture on how to do his job. Pretty audacious with Durham looming. He will embarrass them.
This was a bonus I didn’t see coming.
