The warrants allow all law enforcement to take a gander at the goods.
For all I know, I could be full of canal water. Maybe NYPD bootstrapped the warrant and got an image. I just can’t find anything on that.
NYPD—Only involvement I know of as reported in a somewhat known news source was an article—IIRC it was Daily Mail. Was some mention of a thank you/praise from FBI for NYPD SVU type group for assistance in the Weiner case. No specifics given. Also NO mention of laptop.
NYPD involvement, if any, will not be known until way down the road-if then. JMHO.
