I truly needed some quiet after the last week, so made this last night from Daily Mail landscape images to "If Ye Love Me" by Thomas Tallis.
Cats - Daily Mail - Segovia - Bach
The Art of Landscapes - Images from Daily Mail - Joseph Blanchard
Food - Images from Daily Mail - Joseph Blanchard
Sea Animals - Images from Daily Mail - Joseph Blanchard

Impressive ...thanks.
Thank you, anti. And your name made me laugh. Thanks for that, too.
That was beautiful and serene.
Thanks, Aqua. If it hadn’t gone so fast, I would have asked you to beta. I did try out that second piece of Joe’s, but it was too gay for the quiet I was trying to create.
You paced it perfectly. Think the chorus gave it more feeling than the piano piece would have.
I went thru all the classical music I had. I’m sure I missed the perfect pieces, and none of the other Tallis worked, but as soon as I heard this, I knew it had the awe that nature inspires in me.
At IBM Research, EVERYONE came down with Lime Disease. Walking in the woods was the thing. That sort of got me out of walking. And when I did walk around Henry Livingston’s farm, I brushed a branch and my coat was covered with ticks. Didn’t do that again.
So the photos make a substitute. And the music brings the mood back.
Thank you so much!!
The images and the music fit together so well. An inspired choice!
Really hoping you’re into hugs, because you’re getting a really big, virtual one.
Wonderful! Marvelous!
Thank you so much.
If I were one of the high muckymucks at the Daily Mail I would commission you to do this as a 4K or 8K video with images from the original digital files, and pay you handsomely for doing so.
Also thanks for turning me on to Thomas Tallis. What do you think of Eric Whitacre?
Hadn’t heard of him

Lovely and gentle
Very enjoyable! Some surreal images there.
Thanks, Gnu. I kept most of the really strange ones out. I put in one set then gradually replaced them with others until I had a consistent set of visuals to keep with the feel of the music. There are stranger ones in the older landscape video. And it would be fun to put the new stranger ones together in a bouncier video.
That 4th image (maybe more) looks distinctly like the Canadian Rockies?

Terrific! I’m going to view it all again with that list.
Yes. I have definitely seen Spirit Island at Lake Maligne.
Gorgeous up there!
I haven’t. I’ve been to Banff and Jasper, Lake Louise and the Athabasca glacier. Fell completely in love with Edmonton, but a little nervous of all the electrical outlets hanging down from poles over parking places.
I don’t think I noticed that, but I wasn’t driving myself and it was summer.
Was it for car batteries?
If you go back to Jasper, I believe you can see that Spirit Island on a side trip.
