American cruise passenger passes the time stuck in coronavirus quarantine by tweeting reviews of his food as he jokes the only pleas for help are ‘for more coffee’
Matthew Smith, an American passenger on the quarantined Diamond Princess, tweets his meal reviews to pass the hours of his almost week-long quarantine
Smith claimed that the only complaint he has is that he needs more coffee
He added that staff ‘might have to drag me off the ship when the quarantine ends’ because he’s enjoying the meal service to his room so much
Smith has been quarantined in his cabin since Sunday but shares pictures of his meals and the thermometers supplied to monitor temperatures
A total of 64 people on the cruise ship have tested positive for coronavirus, including 11 Americans

right. because it’s impossible to safely supply a cruise ship containing 3,000 passengers and crew members with fresh water and food, and the only alternative is to let all 3,000 dehydrate and starve to death over the next month ... that sure would be a lot of wrongful death lawsuits against Princess Cruises ...
and since the only way to get off that ship right now is to get infected with coronavirus, my expectation is that as the desperate passengers and crew run out of water, they’ll hold “infection” parties to try and deliberately get infected with the virus, because that would be preferable to death by dehydration ...
