The U.S. Senate has 53 Republicans and 47 Democrats (including two independents). There are 35 seats up in 2020 - including special elections in Arizona and Georgia - of which 23 are held by the GOP. Democrats will need to gain 3 or 4 seats to take control.
Currently, the U.S Senate is controlled by the Republicans. As of January, 2019, they control 53 Senate seats, Democrats 45, with 2 independents caucusing as Democrats (effectively giving them 47 seats). In 2020, 34 Senate seats are up for election, 22 held by Republicans, 12 by Democrats. As the Vice-President will break any ties, Democrats would need to gain 3 seats and win the presidency to take control in a 50-50 Senate as of January, 2021.
Because of the impeachment farce, I think we also have an outside shot at the Minnesota seat.
Trump’s going to take Minnesota this time, so ads should just hammer that current woman senator with her two guilty YES votes. She hasn’t been in office that long, so it’s not impossible to get her.
We also need to hammer Jeanne Shaheen(New Hampshire) with her two YES votes. Trump’s also taking New Hampshire, but this woman has been in office a lot longer and might be harder to get.
I think we lose Arizona too. So that gives is 52 Senators.
.....”it is the hand they have behind their back you really have to worry about. This is how they get away with all they have”......
Absolutely....further whatever they ‘say’ as reasons/excuses it’s always something else they’re not saying. Everything is a deception......
I haven't seen Larry's take on this lately.
Now that we're closing in on the races, maybe he has some thoughts on this.
A lot depends on if they can get away with the Mitt that they got away with in Maricopa in 2018.
Should the rats control congress, Trump will be impeached in the first 90 days. Who knows if they then go after Pence. The rat party is sick. ..mentally deranged.

When Bernie wins the White House, he'll no longer be a Senate "independent caucusing as a Democrat", so the DNC's problem is even larger. Didn't that make your blood run cold a little? ;^) Loss of Sanders in the Senate is probably one reason the DNC doesn't want him as the nominee.
Anyway, don't worry, Sanders will probably be dead before the convention, and none will dare call it Arkancide.
Thanks Openurmind.
Love those charts. It’s well done. Thanks, it did Openmymind :- )
Absolutely my privilege, We really do need to keep our eyes on these races. :)
“I believe dims will take Az. Cali types have been moving in, in droves.”
Everything depends on turnout in Maricopa County. In 2018 Republican turnout was average and Democrat turnout was exceptional.
One campaign issue absent in 2018 was gun control. With Mark Kelly running McSally better make this a big issue. Independents are with Republicans on this issue.
Indeed. Isnt it interesting that pubbies cant sell freedom. And they dont even try. Simply amazing.
