Could Tom Brady replace Derek Carr as the Raiders quarterback? If Las Vegas has their way, maybe.
Tom Brady fever is overtaking the Super Bowl. A pair of juicy reports regarding the Patriots quarterback's future emerged Sunday morning, each a potentially significant development in where No. 12 ends up next season.
The first report is regarding New England, which NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said is prepared to pay Brady more than $30 million. That's significantly more than Brady, who has historically signed team-friendly deals, has ever made in a season.
Just as importantly, it would bring Brady's earnings more in line with other elite quarterbacks. His former backup Jimmy Garoppolo, who is starting for the 49ers in the Super Bowl, made more than Brady did this year.
Other reports are beginning to indicate which teams may chase Brady if he hits free agency.
Rapoport said the Los Angeles Chargers "are expected to be among the teams who will make a pitch to Brady," while ESPN's Adam Schefter the Raiders are "poised to pursue" him as the franchise moves to Las Vegas.
Both AFC West teams will be looking to upgrade at quarterback, can surround Brady with a lot of talent and are looking to make a splash to fill new stadiums.
Brady will become a free agent for the first time in his career March 18. He can agree to terms with New England beforehand, but he has said he will approach free agency with an open mind.
Saw his commercial “I am not going anywhere” so there ya go
If Brady leaves New England, it would make the most sense. It definitely will create a buzz.
Same
Brady and Gronkowski will be defending thier WWE Smackdown tag team championship by Wrestlemania.
Enough success, enough adulation, take a breather and retire.
Same thing, but didn’t he just purchase a property in Greenwich Connecticut?
Keep going Tom!
Stairway to seven...
Enough success, enough adulation, take a breather and retire.
......
Before he has a real bad injury. ...he has nothing to prove, he has done it all.
He wouldn’t be the oldest QB in Raiders history. Blanda played QB at age 43.
Tom isn’t trying to “prove” anything. he just loves football, is still great it, and his favorite Ring is always “the next one.” Just the way he’s wired.
I know other team’s fans want him to quit, but he’s not going to.
New York Jets..to help Darnold...but then a rumor here says that Brady will go to the Bucs, to help a QB that they draft this year...
Brady has 2-3 years left. he’s not going somewhere to “help” a young QB.
I would be stunned if he left the Patriots. It still gives him the best chance to win with 2-3 years left, and they have an incentive to pay him because they have no obvious successor at the moment.
He isn’t just going to take the highest offer at this point. He still doesn’t care about that as his #1 concern.
All these rumors about him going to other teams are agent spin or fan/media wishful thinking.
Look on the bright side.
I’m sure wacko Dangerhair feminists hated it.
Has anybody given a thought that maybe, just maybe he loves to play the game?” I think it is HiS choice and nobody has any say in the matter but Brady.
and Blanda played for many years afterwards. He was a great favorite of mine. Boy could he kick!
Pole dancing has been mainstream for a while. Pole dance cardio classes have been around nearly 20 years.

Yeah, to be fair, Blanda’s extended longevity happened because he eventually became a back-up/emergency QB and full-time kicker. Even in the old NFL, being mostly a kicker helps you expend your career.
He was a tough old buzzard to be sure, but I’m betting Brady will be a full-time starting QB at an older age than Blanda.
Not in my world. You have fun with that pole dancing family of yours!
