I finally got one, an iPhone 8+. I love it and hate it. It will never replace my laptop though. Controls are insanely stupid for internet browsing, etc.

I have a hard enough time using my computer and my “dumb” flip phone—it makes my brain screech Nooooooooooooooooo to even think about a smart phone.
Same for me with one tiny exception:
As bad as a "smart" phone can be, it doesn't come within miles of being as much a PITA as a pager.
Remember those [****] things?
Had one project I worked for two and a half years that I was wearing two or three pagers at times. Only bright spot about 'em was the number of times I got out of meetings after one (or two or at least once when three of 'em started beeping) yelled.
I didn't mention that I hate meetings more than almost anything did I?
