This sounds like a rehash of the book The Psychopath Test. Its an interesting book that says that many people at the top of organizations are psychopaths and those traits helped them get there. Theres a lot of valid criticism of the book, but it was mainly successful because it gave those of us who arent Number One a reason to believe that these leaders are somehow less human than us and not to be trusted. Its a form of social jealousy and hate of success that fits in particularly well with Dim politics although it seems a lot of Dim pols fit the bill themselves.
Not going to disagree entirely, but for those of us who disagree with the "get ahead at any cost" mentality, we are accused of being jealous because we refuse to accept and approve of sociopathic behavior.
I am also amazed at those who worship at the feet of the most corrupt demoKKKrat politicians in America, but are threatened by those of us who value our freedoms, faith, the Constitution and the rule of law. You know, us bitter clingers who want to hang on to our guns and religion.
My view on this subject is not based on any “book” but rather personal experience.
I have the good (or bad) fortune to be able to spot the sociopaths a mile away—and inevitably they are either at the very top of organizations or are “rising stars”.
I had a couple of bosses who fit the bill—and have known the heads of a few non-profits who were sociopaths as well.
They are very slick—so if you don’t have the proper “antenna” they can be hard to be spot—until they burn you.
