In 1972 my family went to West VA in a place where my new stepbrother and stepsister went to school in Lousia KY. There house or homestead was up in a holler, and the drive ended at a creek before a 10 minute walk up to their home.
Grandma and grandpa were dead serious about these man like creatures. She had repeated that she came around a stall in the barn a felt a furry hand and she screamed and the creature ran away. They said some researcher came up in 51 and 57 trying to gather evidence. The entire family said they saw them once every few years. They smell really bad. We watched the sunset and a herd of 17 deer crossed over the ridge. Turkey calls, crickets and all sort of night noise as we walked down to the creek we had to cross over stones in the dark where we left the car.
And SOB if Bigfoot wasn’t in the driver’s seat....
Seriously though I believe what they said . They had notes, old pictures of foot prints and dead animals tore up differently from fox, wolf, bird of prey, and those carcass pictures in B&W were just their collection of supposed Bigfoot activity.
My dad left me two file folders on Bigfoot in SE Ohio. He left me about 5 pounds of research and conjecture on Yrti/BFor the imbomable snowman.
Interesting. But I don’t understand, the place you went was in Kentucky, inside West Virginia?
