Some people have no common sense until they’re older; some NEVER have any at all.

I’m not saying that Charles or any of the Royals had anything to do with the death of Princess Diana, but historically, that IS what happens to “unsuitable” royal wives...

I wonder if the Queen will take Harry back after this tart blows up in his face?

Harry is an idiot. He had options and he chose her.

She didnt lose it. THey agreed not to use it.

Blind gossip has an item about this. Someone feeds him info.

If Harry was stripped of his title he would have to bow to Andrews children...and other ramifications. Prince Charles was not having that.

Plus, it allows Harry to come back to the fold after he sees the error of his ways.

All of this can still be reviewed and changed depending on how badly Harry and Meghan act with the Sussex Royal brand.

I suspect it gets worse.

Sometimes you have amputate an infected limb to save the rest of the body so that’s what the Queen did in this case. If she has enough kids eventually Meghan will throw off one that has her mothers attributes.

I understand that ppl can’t be without citizenship in any nation. International law and all. But with royals is where it’s sticky. Consider the post below from
Kundan Bhaduri, Associate Director at Infosys Limited:
https://www.quora.com/Will-Meghan-Markle-be-granted-British-citizenship-for-getting-married-into-the-royal-family

What he’s saying is, theoretically, all a royal bride would have to do is formally swear allegiance to the Sovereign. If all citizenships and passports are issued in the Queen’s name and authority, HRH could just snap her fingers and it could be sealed and done in a hot flash. As Bhaduri mentions, it’s interesting that Meghan is standing in line with the rest of the little people. A sign of a ‘more modern’ monarchy ? Or did the Firm consider the 5-yrs wait as a probationary period, not counting on a rushed pregnancy?

One could say allegiance would be implied under public marriage to a Prince of the Realm and at the very first curtsey to HRH (as well as minor things like attending royal events, using royal letterhead, commonwealth travel in representation of the Queen, even using the Prince’s father to walk her down the aisle) and is likely included in the hundred or so papers she signed before the marriage ceremony. Just like Prince Phillip signed when he married Elizabeth; just like Prince Albert signed when he married Victoria. And just like Victoria’s brother, Earnest, the Duke of Cumberland, who left England for his inherited title of Emperor of Hanover, signed in Hanover before he threw out their constitution and had all swear allegiance to him as their new King.

Also, it’s assumed that drawing a salary as an employee, she has a work visa at the least. But as a dual citizen, it’s been expressed that the couple’s family-derived income opens Charles’ private income and that of the royal coffers to the IRS rummaging around, doesn’t it? And that’s not going to happen on Elizabeth’s watch. So it’s an either or. And if it’s or, then how could the titles/styles not go flying out the window? For the same reasons, how could Archie be a dual citizen and a royal subject at the same time - being he’s a direct line royal above all else?

Reality is she only has a voice if it’s printed or posted. She is such a disgusting person in real life. I won’t bother to read any more about them.

if I understand things right, and if the Statute of Westminster 1931 hasn't been modified, the Statute says direct-line royalty can't be arbitrarily removed, can't remove themselves, and can't be skipped over in line of succession on a whim. Changing the order requires an Act of Parliament, which can't be passed until it's affirmed by all the parliaments of all the commonwealth nations. It's a big deal. Edward the 8th (Wallace Simpson) had to obtain the Act not because he quit but because he was changing the line of succession and disinheriting any future issue from claim to the Crown.

So title or no and absent an Act, Archie would seem to remain a direct-line descendant of the current and of the future Monarch, would be counted in succession line just like his father Still Is, and no one person can change succession arbitrarily. That is, born royalty. To become a commoner, his runaway father would have to do an E8 -seek permission from the entire Commonwealth to disown his royal family and royal ties and remove himself and his issue, including Archie, from line of succession, in which case Archie might be getting lawyers of his own ;)
