If you had paid attention to #CDAN, you would have known this story about a year in advance.
The whole Bezos-being-hacked cover story is a complete fraud.
See, Bezos hired a firm called FTI Consulting Technology to perform “forensic analysis” on his device and say “Yes, yes, Mr. Bezos was hacked by the Saudis.” The NYTimes ran a feature propagating that narrative.
And then the Feds literally stepped in an stamped out that narrative almost instantly.
So what does that tell you?
Well - first thing it tells me is that Bezos was trying to pull a “Crowdstrike” where he gets this private and respected/established company to talk about how he was really the victim in all this hacking.
Because he really wants you to believe that the head of Amazon and the guy who ran cloud-computing for the literal CIA (and like, a third of the internet) is vulnerable to this kind of stuff. Yeah, right.
Second thing it tells me is that this makes me think they’re closing in on Bezos (especially given what we know about the MEGA group, and seeing how he was “conveniently’ on a yacht with Geffen when Epstein was “suicided).”
The Feds are NOT letting Crowdstrike 2.0 get *any* traction here. Otherwise - who else could try to leverage the same strategy in the future?
Worth noting that FTI Technologies was involved in the Lehman Bros. bankruptcy, the GM bankruptcy, the Bernie Madoff scam, and Bush v. Gore in 2004.
