Former US vice-president Al Gore has tried to mobilise the global elite to fight the climate crisis by comparing it to some of history’s greatest battles, from Agincourt to Dunkirk.
Gore told delegates at the World Economic Forum in Davos that the scale of the climate emergency was much worse than people recognise, and getting worse much faster than people recognise.
“The burden to act on the shoulders of the generation of the people alive today is a challenge to our moral imagination,” said Gore, during a session on protecting the Amazon and developing sustainable markets.
“This is Thermopylae. This is Agincourt. This is the Battle of the Bulge. This is Dunkirk. This is 9/11,” declared Gore. “We have to rise to this occasion.”
Gore, who has campaigned on environmental issues since losing the 2000 presidential race, added that the world currently lacks the requisite political will to tackle the emergency.
“But remember, political will is itself a renewable resource,” he added, to applause from the audience.

Back in the late 70’s early 80’s Gore was running around saying we were going to have a climate freeze (my words) and we wouldn’t make it out of the 20th century.

US, some clan of Arabs in the ME, China, doesn't matter to Al which government just as long as they're willing to give him cash he'll deliver whatever they want that he can deliver.
His real problem is that he's no longer "in the loop" and connected enough to deliver anything. I suspect he'll to see him die unexpectedly before autumn of 2020 if he survives past Easter of this year.

Why not just show us a photo of a city underwater or bodies of drowned polar bears?
They never actually say except to hold the "end-of-the-earth-as-we-know-it" threat up as extortion for doing what they want to do.
What they really want is to destroy free enterprise capitalism by the elimination of fossil fuels that run the industries of the world.
They want to replace it with socialism/communism economic systems so the elites can control the populations of the globe and install a One World Government that they control.
But again, what exactly do they want us to do RIGHT NOW that is so urgent?
The want us to give them all of our MONEY or else, that's what.
It's all a big stickup like a mugging on the street: "Give me your wallet pal or your dead."
In other words, it's the liberal version of legalized robbery.
And none of this has anything at all to do with the climate or the planet. That is just their ruse to extort us.
How many mansions does this hypocrite own? How big is his carbon footprint? And don’t give us that “buying carbon credits” nonsense.
