Would it have been tasteless, if right after someone shouted out, "That's our Hitler!"?
Theres a new book called “The Show Won’t Go On” by a bloke called Jeff Abraham that is about musicians who died on stage.
The worse-case I could think of was Dimebag Darrell.
That's what happened to me when I dropped dead on the basketball court in November of 2018. But the guys started CPR and first aid was there in about four minutes (they tell me) with a defib. I awoke in the hospital several days later.
Every day above ground is a blessing.
Well ok, you made your point, but it does come from the BBC.
Out in San Diego as I recall
UCSD in 1987...audience thought it was part of act for a few minutes.
Shawn was L.S.D. - Lorenzo Saint Dubois
The problem was it was a folk festival. If it had been a rock show they could have turned on his amp and tossed a glass of water on him and that might have jumpstarted the old ticker.
Yeah who also played Hitler!
I was think of the German author.
Yes!
I think it was the Cold Shot video where Stevie Ray Vaughn died and was revived by inserting a guitar cord into his vein like an IV.
LOL! Oh, jeeze! I could totally see a Plott doing that! :)
Jerusalem Tomorrow is an amazing song and I was only familiar with Emmylou Harris’ version, which is quite exceptional.
That said, David Olney’s cover of his own song is more haunting.
Lol...turned up to 11 no doubt.

I am the very heart Of this frozen Northern sea
I waited in the dark for near eternity
I am your ancient lover with a love as real as stone
My frozen arms are reaching, they reach for you alone
Come to me, Come to me, Come to me......
Titanic!
etc, etc.
Very happy to hear this. Take care of yourself, and make sure you have good follow up.
God bless.
If I had to choose... that ain’t bad
I’m glad you got to hear him performing it, sorry that the occasion was his passing.
We are losing the good instrument players and good song writers. They are being replaced by button pushing riff stealing hipster DJ’s. There is no hope for the future. Especially after all the riffs have been stolen and there is noone left to create them. So sad. At least we have old recordings.
