What do you think about Manchin wanting to vote on censoring the President? That means they think he did abuse power. I think that is wrong. That would be like a prosecutor “knows” someone committed murder but doesn’t have the evidence so they make a deal on pleading manslaughter. I’ve seen documentaries about innocent people taking the pleas because the prosecutor doesn’t want to admit he can’t make the case, so bullies the suspect into pleading a lesser charge.

Exactly. That is why I get upset when all the Republicans even say that the crowdstrike issue was debunked, but how is that so when the FBI didnt get to process it and witnesses were not interviewed?

Said before and will again. I believe Roberts was told of a sealed indictment of the whistle blower and the possibility that he might have to adjudicate in his case. Therefore so he would not have to remove himself from a potential 5-4 decision decided now was the time to not be involved.
Only possibility I can think of. Otherwise why would someone give him the heads up on the name. Someone had to do that.

People here are super friendly. That’s why it takes so long to get through any checkout line. The cashier has to talk to everybody coming through, find out how their mother is doing, Did the cat do okay with the surgery, When are the kids going to play together next? It’s actually quite adorable. Very Mayberry. I learned that I need to leave the holler 10 minutes before I really need to, because if I happen to run across somebody it is rude not to stop and chat.
My neighbors all pay their bills in person. They go to the water company to pay, to the electric company, to the trash company. Bill paying day is a lot of fun apparently. Guess I’ll never know because I’m stuck in a rut using schwab.com.
I haven’t been caught yet. Otherwise, I might have some explaining to do.
