Yep those new gas can spouts suck. I don’t even try to use them anymore. I have caps over the opening. I open, pour into funnel into whatever.
Old gas cans are a big item at flea markets.
They're easy to defeat.
Take the new spout and use a pair of needle nose pliers to rip out the valve on the "can end" of the spout.
Just like the good old days.
still haven’t really figured out how to use the one I have so I just take it completely off and pour it into an old one instead. complete joke.
