US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has revealed the name of her new pooch — “Deco.”
The renegade Bronx Democrat — who came under fire for allegedly buying a purebred male French bulldog puppy instead of rescuing a dog from a shelter — said in an Instagram posting Sunday that the name is short for the early 1900s Art Deco movement.
AOC, who had asked online followers for name suggestions last week, wrote that she and boyfriend Riley Roberts ultimately chose the moniker.

If you want Art Deco you need to go to South Beach in Florida. You will be greeted by some of the finest examples of the genre. You will also be greeted by some of the freaks that inhabit South Beach.

I saw Miami’s Deco in the late 80s and early 90s on a few trips.
Some cities still have remnants.
