The video shown is not actual footage, but simulation or video game. The system shown is C-RAM. Counter Rocket Artillery Mortar. It’s a Navy CIWS system on a trailer. It’s great for incoming short range stuff, but it’s not a Ballistic Missile defense system, and can only defend a small area. I sent a lot of my CIWS guys to the sandbox to operate and maintain these systems.

The C-RAM is a real weapon and there are some very cool videos of it in action. This video however isnt one of them. The simulation is from the video game Arma 3.

While I was in the Navy they called it the Phoenix system. I do know the
Navy is working on Hypersonic rail bullets that can actually be steered in flight. That would be the only way I figure you could make this video a reality.
