How about gas powered elected and bureaucratic tools?
To: C19fan
I wonder how golf courses are going to deal with this.

Batteries and extension cords; electricity only when PG&E says it’s okay and only certified batteries by CA where you need both a permit and license to use batteries - $200/per citizen.

I wonder how golf courses are going to deal with this.
Golf courses are primarily used by older, richer, whiter people. They tie up valuable land and use too much water. In addition, they pollute the environment with pesticides known to the state of California to cause cancer. Eliminating them will be a win-win when they are transformed into campsites for homeless people.
(Sigh, I guess I have to /s this.)

I would support this not on any ecology reason but the noise factor. A gas powered leaf blower has to be as loud as a jet plane taking off. A lot of my neighbors use lawn services and they all come on different days but they all have the gas powered leaf blower.
(I pulled my grass out years ago and landscaped with rock and bark. Gave my lawn mower away).

Think how many homeless camps can be relocated to the golf courses! WIN WIN is right.
