When I was a junior in high school my friend wanted me to put a bid in to sorority. I did. They refused me because they said "we can't hold meetings at your house". At that time we lived in a housing project. Back then the project was a stepping stone to a better place later. Good people lived there. Many of our neighbors were like step parents.
One year later my mom had our house built. The sorority came to me asking me to join. I said," NO. I'm the same person this year as last year."
This is why I think that way about the dems. Childish , hateful , snobby behavior.

Thanks for sharing. I was thinking about our life today and back several years ago when we were going through a rough time. Our marriage started rough so rough patches were just part of our experiences. People talk about couples connecting because they were opposites or such but I think we have survived because we knew hard times come and go. Someone came to our house while we were struggling and looked at our living room and commented, " I've never seen anyone use a living room as a basket ball court. You put a basketball goal in here?" I've never forgotten that moment. I laughed and said...he does love his basketball. I was talking about our young son at the time.

That was a very “Mean Girl” experience, lysie.
But I think you did learn a very valuable lesson and you handled it very well.
Proud of you!
Our President was born on the wrong side of the tracks in NY according to these “elite snobs.”
His dad told him not to go into Manhattan with his business.
His dad knew how these “elite snobs” were.
But our ever fearless Donald took on the snobs and won!!!!
